Markets for Writers
Workshop Given by Robin Nobles on
How Can Writers Use the Internet?
at the Southeastern Writers Conference
June 22, 1998
On the Internet, you'll find markets for both online and print publications. Many of the publications pay for articles, while others don't.
Consider finding some markets that are interested in giving new writers a chance. Write some articles for them and get your name in print. Then, branch to the better paying markets, of which the Internet has plenty of as well!
The Market List - Market Index -- includes professional listings, small press, ezines, and more.
We're back to Inkspot again. Be sure to check out their market information for writers.
Avalanche of Jobs for Writers -- Divided by region, freelance, or online.
WorldWide Freelance Directory -- Lists professional freelancers and consultants from all specialties.
The Write Jobs - Job listings for journalists, editors, and writers.
E-Mail Media -- Offers email addresses for a huge number of publications.
