Have you ever considered accessing your favorite business magazines on the Web? Many of the more popular magazines have corresponding websites. Though some require a subscription to the magazine itself, others can be accessed free of charge.

One such magazine is Inc. Advertised as the "website for growing companies," Inc. Online offers a wide array of articles and tips from their print magazine. You'll even find "mini sites" in categories like Finance, Local Business News, International Business, and Business Technology. Does your company qualify as one of the fastest-growing private companies in America? Take their interactive test to see where your numbers fall, then pick up an application form online.

At the website for The Economist, you can access the print publication's cover story and related articles, view politics and business news of the week, or read a selection of six articles from the current issue. You can also access their classified section for jobs, courses, and business services.

Visit Forbes Digital Tool for top stories from the current issue of Forbes Magazine. Or, branch off into departments such as Technology, Personal Finance, or Startups to pinpoint information of your choice. From the Forbes website, you can also access archives from magazines such as Forbes ASAP, Forbes FYI, and American Heritage.

Read a daily business report, or access articles on a variety of topics at Fortune. Participate in a weekly poll to see how your opinions stack up to other users, or read late-breaking news stories. This impressive site offers category after category filled with articles on topics such as small business, smart managing, and personal fortune. The site also offers a listing of career opportunities, a Career Skills Test, and book reviews. At Fortune 500, you can study America's 500 largest companies and learn what the big boys are doing.

Another popular print magazine that offers an online webpage is Kiplinger's Personal Finance Magazine. Access their cover story, such as "How to Cut Your Taxes." Read articles on family finance, global economy 1998, or U.S. capitalism. Some portions of the site simply refer to one of Kiplinger's many publications, but you can access other sections, like Top Funds, free of charge.

Peter Lynch is one of the best known and most successful stock pickers of our time. You'll find an archive of his past articles at the Worth Online website. Read top stories from their current print issue, glance through their listing of online investing resources, or take a quick course in Investor 101. The site offers a search engine for past articles as well as archives broken down by subject or date. You'll be able to access practically everything from past issues of Worth at this site.

Small Business Taxes & Management offers the web version of The Small Business Tax Review. The site provides tax and management guidelines to small and medium-sized businesses. A magazine for "today's entrepreneurial mind" is Success Magazine Online. At the site, you can view articles from their current print issue or access their online book store. The site also features The Source, a very impressive electronic guide for entrepreneurs, and a listing of the top 25 business schools for entrepreneurs.
